DAY 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet our company arranged driver/guide who will transfer you to Arusha city direct to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your group name on signboard. Upon arrival at your hotel “Goldcrest Hotel” get a chance for safari and other activities briefing before your dinner.
DAY 2: Tarangire National Park
Another day in world of wildness to experience after early breakfast, tour started with your packed lunch while heading to Tarangire National Park, it takes about 3 hours to reach the park from your Arusha. Entering the sixth largest Tanzania national park which is famous and unique for two major this as a large number of family’s elephant including other animals and magnificent Baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras and other: Over 550 bird’s species found in the park including Ashy Starling, Yellow-collared Lovebird, and Rufus-tailed Weaver. After your lunch heading to Karatu at Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight relaxation.
DAY 3: Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, the Largest UNESCO heritage site , via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Late afternoon drives back to Karatu at “Suenos De Africa Luxury Camp” for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4 & 5: Northern Serengeti (Kogatende) & Great Migration (Possibility for River Crossing)
After breakfast take a best view at Mara river for witnessing the breathtaking sight of large herds of wildebeest and zebras as they approach the riverbank, often gathering in massive numbers before making the daunting leap into the water. The crossing is fraught with dangers. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note that finding a crossing is very challenging and is sometimes a matter of luck.
Crocodiles lurk in the waters, ready to ambush unsuspecting animals. The current can be strong, making the crossing treacherous. Besides the wildebeest and zebras, the area is rich in wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, and various bird species, all thriving in this vibrant ecosystem. Later heading back to your lodge at “Tanzania Bush Camp” for dinner and overnight relaxation.
DAY 6: Central Serengeti (Optional For Morning Air Balloon)
Optional Serengeti Balloon: Enjoy an incredible Safari from The Sky over the Serengeti National Park, boosting enchanting scenery and uninterrupted views as you embark on an extraordinary adventure. Special arrangements are made for you. This gives you a rare chance to experience the awakening of the surrounding wildlife and a wonderful sunrise. Transferred to Western Corridor (Central Serengeti) where balloon will fly for 1 hour before landing.
After breakfast, continue with game drive in Northern Serengeti while heading to Central Serengeti. Spot many animals including Big Five animals Lion, Buffalo’s, Leopard, Elephant and Rhino including other animals. Later heading to “Suenos De Africa Luxury Camp” for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast your lodge, heading to Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll descend over 600 meters into the crater, The UNESCO heritage site to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon after extensive game drive you’ll drive back to Karatu “Marera Valley Lodge” for dinner and overnight relaxation.
DAY 8: Karatu Town Tour & Culture Learning (Maasai Boma Visit)
Karatu Local Market: A visit to the bustling markets which provide an insight into the division of gender roles within the community. The markets here offer a wide array of goods as well as fruits, and other home daily goods uses. Also have a visit of colorful fabrics to handcrafted items, giving you a glimpse into the local economy and the vibrant trade that sustains the community. Later heading to one of Maasai boma for culture learning.
On the way to Arusha stop at one of Maasai village located between Manyara and Arusha for the main purpose of learning the Maasai culture.
CULTURE TIME: Reach the village and be welcomed with beautiful songs and dancing. Their boma’s has number of huts and number of Maasai habitants who live together as family, learn their ways of life, dress, making their own jeweler, grazing their cattle, how do they start making fire and dancing together listening to their songs is quite impressive. You will be able to spend 2 hours have fun before proceeding to Arusha at Gold Crest Hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 9: Flight Home From Kilimanjaro International Airport
After breakfast, have airport transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you’ll catch your flight back to your lovely country. So, goodbye, Tanzania!
